About the Journal
Scholarly Archive: Journal of Information Dissemination and Literacy (SAJIDL) is the official, peer-reviewed journal of the University Library, Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa. Launched in 2025, SAJIDL was established to give librarians, educators, and researchers across Nigeria and beyond a dedicated outlet for original, high-quality research at the intersection of library and information science, information literacy, and education.
The journal is published biannually and welcomes contributions of international significance from scholars, practitioners, and postgraduate researchers working in academic, medical, and public library contexts.

Submission Guidelines & Fees
SAJIDL welcomes original, unpublished manuscripts within its scope. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis for upcoming issues — contact the editorial office at scholarlyarchives@bmu.edu.ng to confirm the current submission window before sending your manuscript.
Manuscript Requirements
- Language: English
- Length: not more than 8,000 words
- Format: MS Word (.docx), Times New Roman, font size 12, double-spaced
- Abstract: at least 250 words, with a maximum of 6 keywords
- Referencing style: APA (American Psychological Association), 7th Edition
- First page must include the title, full name(s) of author(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address(es) and phone number
- Articles must not be published or under review elsewhere
